SEPT -------------------------------------------------------

* 28th - all youth groups (5th-12th grades) remain in main service at 4pm service for worship.

OCT -------------------------------------------------------

* 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd - HS Wednesday Morning Breakfast! We're meeting & eating at the new church campus!! 6:45-7:30am. Rides to school will be available.

* 5th/6th grade events are scheduled throughout October. Contact youthministry@sbcommunity.org for details.

* 5th, 12th, 19th - Sunday Youth Group meets for 5th-12th grades! 4pm service only. See weekly church bulletin for details.

* 24th - High School Fifth Quarter After Party! Our annual big youth group party after the DP/San Marcos football game. This year we'll meet a the MANor, our intern housing next to the church. Contact Erik Berg for details need2getfat@gmail.com

* 25th - JH Halloween party, 6:30-8:30pm. Contact Erik Anderson for details. Costumes, food, games, candy, friends... what more do you need?!

We are SO thankful for a tremendous group of leaders who are serving our students. We enjoyed an amazing & rich summer of ministry and fun, and look forward to the fall.

Kelly has been a member of SBCC since 1986, and has been on the pastoral staff since 1994. Kelly attended UCSB and Fuller Seminary, and previous to guiding the youth ministry, was on staff from 1984-1995 with Young Life in Santa Barbara.

Erik has been a member of SBCC since 2001, and joined Kelly in the youth ministry as an intern January 07. Erik attended UCSB and is currently attending Fuller Seminary. Previous to coming on staff with the youth ministry, Erik spent a year in South Africa with Bridges of Hope International.

Karen has been a member of SBCC since 1993. She attended Westmont College. Previous to serving SBCC in a wide variety of administrative capacities (bookkeeping, payroll, human resources), Karen served as a leader with Kelly from 1996-2005. She also partners with her husband Paul in serving on the SBCC Elder Board.
