Children's 2008-9 School Year Sunday Activities

CHILDREN'S CHURCH:

The children's church program is a graduated experience of learning which has the goal of helping children understand worship and participation in church life in age-appropriate forms. This year we have included an activities component every other week to our program. It is our hope that we will minister to the unique needs of children by increasing their opportunities to be active as we continue to seek to teach them about worship.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:

This year we are departing from the materials we have used in the past to capitalize on the chance to study the same material as the adults in church. A curriculum on the Gospel of John has been developed for preschool to high school. This dovetails with the homegroup studies as well as sermon series. Our intention is to unify the church, enable parents to more easily utilize Sunday school curriculum in their homes and enjoy a sense of church family life.
